But one of them giving you a 95 is excellent. I'm not sure what to recommend at this point (I'm no expert). Did you get actual feedback with the scores? I'd look through that, see what you agree with, edit as necessary, and keep moving forward. If you don't agree with their comments, stay true to yourself.Shannon Lawrencehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00934641808195675935noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8930358664981152962.post-57797908752239155642015-06-03T09:59:40.279-04:002015-06-03T09:59:40.279-04:00Thanks, Randi! I have a routine when it comes to taking breaks because I believe writers should step away from their writing now and then in order to be able to come back and look at it with fresh eyes. Hobbies include reading, hiking, visiting new places (parks, beaches, etc.) and whatever else comes my way :)

Randi Lee, IWSG Co-Host
http://emotionalnovel.blogspot.com
http://www.randileewrites.com
randi leehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14207001299508931034noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8930358664981152962.post-86411224419099555832015-06-03T08:33:47.316-04:002015-06-03T08:33:47.316-04:00What is the contest response, are they 'grades...What is the contest response, are they 'grades'? I read more fiction and watch TV - such as binge-watching Call the Midwife (beautiful and gentle storytelling on that show, let me tell you).

On the other hand, many others also say- keep writing! And I try, but it's hard. WHAT do I write? For example, I have another story idea in my head, but it's not clear enough - my characters aren't developed enough - in my head to even start writing.

Writing a query is a good thing to have on that list since that takes about 10 years to write and might as well get started on it now!

Good luck with the waiting!ProfeJMarie (Janet Rundquist)https://www.blogger.com/profile/10170953918491663287noreply@blogger.com
